The Safari House

Heerlijk rustige accomodatie. Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Uitstekend ontbijt veel en vers. Ook avondeten was goed, wel wat prijzig.

Behoorlijk ver van de stad. Er kan een taxi geregeld worden naar Arusha €120 retour, maar al liftend naar de hoofdweg en met de lokale busjes ben je €2 kwijt.

Great location, fantastic atmosphere and super friendly staff (Edward was the best!). The food we had there was also great and we had the best steak in Tanzania. We also really liked the golf course near the property.

Nothing, it was brilliant. Would come back.

At night, scary commute to the property. Be calm! It's worth it! My dear Edward, my dear Edward! There was something very special about our stay at the Safari House. During our stay, we were the only guests. As a result, we had the entire property to ourselves. During this portion of my trip we stayed at other hotels throughout our 18-day vacation. During our travels, Safari House was the best accommodation and experience we had. Edward greeted us upon our arrival at midnight. We were treated with kindness throughout the check-in process, Edward recognized we were tired and suggested we rest and that he would cover things after we rested. Any time we opened our door during our stay, Edward appeared. The experience was like having our own personal staff member. A significant role was played by the other house staff during our stay. Although we were the only ones there, the cooks and cleaners were amazing and consistently provided amazing service. I enjoyed the food a lot. Breakfast, fresh fruit, and fruit juices. The dinners were perfectly curated. From the fish to the pork and the beef. Everything was prepared to perfection. During our stay, I was sick with the flu. It was Edward who prepared me the best ginger tea to help clear up the congestion for me. This may also be one of the reasons they kept tea stocked in our room. I was indeed sick, as Edward realized. The final experience that was worth it was the horseback safari. It was such a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As we went during the rainy season, everything was lush, vibrant, and green. Unlike anything we've seen before, it was a different color. These city girls were blown away! Well-kept grounds. So glad to have met the owner. We were so pleased to share with her directly the experience we had while there and to give "flowers" to the amazing team members she has. This is the place to stay if you are ever in Usa River, Mt. Kilimanjaro area.

This does not apply. There isn't a thing that we did not like.

Lovely room with bathroom. I had the breakfast included which was plenty and great. I decided to have dinner at the property and that was also excellent starter, main and pudding. I played a round of golf whilst staying and they shuttled me to and from the course (only a few mins) and I was able to see Mt Kilimanjaro peak. Beautiful grounds, worth the visit even if you don’t want to play a round. Staff very welcoming and going above and beyond.
