The Flower House

Claudine was very communicative from booking to departure providing a lot of information of the local area; things to see and do, things to avoid and restaurant recommendations. The Flower House was well equipped, comfortable and very clean. Well located just outside Penzance meaning avoiding busy areas of the town. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Claudine was the perfect host, very thoughtful and catered for all our needs. Great location, warm, cosy, well appointed and exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed, log fire, private parking. This time a winter booking, we hope to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor seating area. The Flower House really is truly exceptional!

It’s a quiet secret hideaway which is very well appointed, cosy and extremely clean yet still only a few minutes drive away from the restaurants/ attractions of Penzance.

Nice central village location, but tucked quietly out of the way. Woodburner to make the evenings cosy in cold weather. Nice and quiet and plenty of room to park the car near the front door. Great base to explore the surrounding area. The owners very kindly left a bottle of wine in fridge as a welcome gift.

Claudine, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage itself has everything you need and was spotless. The location is perfect as a base for exploring Cornwall. You can even catch the 17A bus straight to St Ives. Nice local pub. Very quiet location. Supermarkets are a five minute drive.

So welcoming. Excellent host. Very comfy bed. Facilities perfect.

There's nothing I didn't like. Loved it.

Great location, wonderfully private and decent facilities including parking. Hosts were very accommodating and were there when needed/contactable as required. Plenty of walks from the accommodation for the dog, or you can get to some really nice beaches within a 10-20min drive. The hosts had great knowledge of dog friendly beaches, coastal walks or restaurants and where to go. You will definitely need a car or bicycles to get around as there is not much in the immediate vicinity - though supermarkets etc are only a 5min drive. However, that is exactly why we chose this spot. The accommodation was clean and the kitchen/facilities had everything needed. Will certainly go back if we travel to Penzance again.
