Great location with street parking and good communication with the host.

Very strange that neighbours walk through the garden when you are sitting there! They don’t use their front door and walk through the cottage garden to get into their property.

great Location. We managed to park outside the property...a real bonus. Decoration, interior design - fixtures and fittings great. Beds super comfi and shower great. I like the fact that there was loads of clothes hangers in the wardrobe. A lot of storage space. Will definitely stay again.

We needed to moved some kitchen pots and pans to make storage for our food/grocery items, so an empty cupboard would have been handy for us . A very well equipped kitchen ...but a cafetiere for our morning ground coffee would have been fab.!

Hattie’s, was wonderful, we felt at home as soon as we walked in. It was all modern, comfortable, clean, with excellent facilities. We managed to park opposite, even though it was Bank Holiday weekend. We had excellent communication from Chris, and knew we could have got help if we had any problems. It is very quiet but near the main road and only a 15-20 minute walk to the Cathedral.

Only that we had a busy weekend and didn’t have as much time as we would have liked to spend at Hattie’s! 😊 The stairs are a bit steep, but manageable!

Hattie's is a beautifully presented property. All of the furniture, general decor & fixtures are really lovely to behold. The hosts have installed excellent flat screen Television s. The bathroom has a terrific rainburst type shower & a hand shower in situ. The walk-in shower & the bathroom have been decorated in a stunning b&w. Extra care has been taken everywhere to make the guests feel they are in a home from home. That is exactly how we felt, at home. The Hosts, Chris & Sue were so kind & welcoming. They simply couldn't do enough for us. They sent us a guide to one of the local areas. Thanks to them, I discovered a really special area in Lincoln, which we had never seen or experienced, just by the Cathedral. My Sister has been here for some years & I didn't think there was much in the locale. I was very wrong!😄😊 My Partner & I very much want to stay in Hattie's Cottage next time we visit here. Stay here, you'll be glad you did!!

The only things I didnt like were the steep & very narrow stepped stairs. Iam disabled, so they were tough for me. Chris was very honest about these. I managed & went up & down sideways with help. It would help though if extra rails were to be installed at the bottom, both sides. Also the bathroom shower could use a couple of rails to help out on leaving the shower & inside it. It may help the occasional Disabled guest. It did not affect my enjoyment & the hosts were so helpful.

The facilities, the quality of decor, cleanliness, space, location, almost everything were brilliant! Best place we have stayed so far after several travels! House was just out of town enough to feel quiet but actually only 5mins walk to the shops and centre. Perfect. And the little courtyard out the back of the property was lovely.

The parking was tricky because we have a large people carrier vehicle and the street is one way, narrow and has street parking on both sides. We did find a spot but it was further down the road than we would have liked. Didn't realise this at the time of booking as we read it had parking, but to be fair it didn't really cause any major issue for us either. Was just unexpected. The bed in the smaller room was very very firm, which didn't much suit us personally. We were able to move over to the 2nd bedroom the next night and it was a little bit more comfy. We think the beds were singles zipped together, which made a huge double (awesome!) but did have a noticeable join in the middle. Otherwise awesome!

The location was great for exploring Lincoln city, being only ten minuets walk from the centre of the city. The property was very comfortable and was ideal for the way we like to spend our time. Also Chris was excellent at texting to check that everything was Ok.

There was nothing that we found any problems with. I am sure if we had any situation that we needed help with Chris would have happily sorted it out.
