The Alb

Fab location , close to the railway and bus station. Close to shops and bars .

The Alb is good value, comfortable & a bit quirky which I like. Travelodge/Premier Inn are not for me. The staff at the Alb are very friendly and helpful. In particular Sally, who served my breakfast two days running. She was lovely and great at her job. 10/10 Also Jamie who cooked my breakfast to perfection. 10/10 The owner Jay should be proud of running such a lovely hotel and having such great staff. I've now stayed in four different rooms and loved all of them for their individual charms.

I'm happy to say there's nothing I didn't like.

The fridge didn’t work but not a major problem as staff offered the bar fridge to keep stuff in

Very close to the train station,and town centre,staff very helpful,and polite,breakfast was outstanding and you also get 10 percent off in the bar.Room was as expected,after reading previous reviews.

We received a warm welcome from Millie on arrival. Our room was very clean and warm and we had a great nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Good room facilities and a lovely breakfast (we chose eggs on toast! but there were lots more options available). Excellent value for money. Second time we’ve been here and we’ll definitely come back again.
