Phong Nha - Lèn Chùa Ecostay

It was a beautiful location in a valley of mountains, only 10 minutes outside of town. The cabins were beautiful, spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

We booked here because we wanted to have a quiet 2 nights after being in very busy, touristy areas for the past week. We arrived to music blaring through loud speakers and were then told there was a group who had booked a party. We were told that the music would be off by 9:30pm after we said we would look for other accommodation, but the music and very loud karaoke went on until 11:30. We also booked another night on the premise that there would be no music the following day, but we were woken up at 7am to more music which was still playing when we returned from a day’s activities and continued until 12am. We would’ve definitely booked somewhere else for the second night to avoid the noise, but we were assured that the music would stop and this we did not appreciate. If you are thinking of booking here for a quiet mountain stay, make sure to check if there is an event happening… They also do not take credit cards which they failed to mention from the start.

We enjoyed our stay here. The pool is great and very clean. The room was spacious and clean. Dinner is as excellent and we had a good breakfast. Very easy to find.

The hot water ran out very quickly in the shower.

Cute little cabins outside of town. Food was lovely and the scenery around was lovely.

Staff had very little english which made interactions quite hard at times. Very hard to get taxis from this area.
