Good location, at the midpoint between the train station and the arena/downown area. The neighborhoods is fine and safe. This was a residential building, so we met a neighbor when we accidentally rang his door, rather than turn on the light on so we could see a thing after getting out of the elevator. There is a grocery store nearby in the same street, which was excellent to get things quickly after arriving tired. Good communication from the host, and very easy access with the code for the keys. The elevator was perfect since the apartment is on the third floor. Te apartment has a good-sized balcony —not so great view, but again, this is a residential building. The area was quiet so we had a peaceful stay.

The shower doors did not close properly, and a lot of water could spill out. This was clearly an ongoing problem since the bottom of the bathroom door was swollen, and the corner wall was black, rotten or moldy due to water damage—which has clearly not been addressed for a while. The bedroom with the bunk bed and twin bed had no windows. The only "window" was an opening in the wall that separates this room from the other bedroom... which negates any noise insulation and provides no real ventilation. The kitchen was acceptable, but all the pots had noticeably scratched teflon coatings—inexplicably, all the cooking utensils were made of metal, which easily explains the scratched pots/pans. There was no cold water in the kitchen sink for some reason. In general, this seems a place that is not professionally cleaned or maintained. It could use a freash coat of paint, since the walls were dirty or scuffed in many places. We had to leave in a hurry and forgot to leave cash on the table for the city tax (10.50 euros) since we had been paying said tax online with previous accomodations. We offered to pay it with card immediately after our departure, but we did not get a response. Our sincere apologies about this!

Location is pretty good and there is adequate room for a 2 bed room place.

There is mildew and water damage in the bathroom, beds are too soft, something was leaking water (they did respond when we wrote them but we figured it wasn't worth trying to get it fixed for one night), in general it needs work.

Great location, about 10 minute walk to main train station in one direction, and the historical part of the city in the other direction. Bed was comfy and warm. Instructions from host re. self check in were very clear.

The bathroom had black mould in the shower and on the ceiling. We couldn’t get hot water to the shower and there were no instructions about how to use the hot water system. There is no kettle to boil water, so we used a saucepan to make a cup of tea. Coffee pods provided but they didn’t fit the coffee maker. No tea towel provided so couldn’t dry the dishes upon check out.

The only good aspect of this place is location.

The apartment was not cleaned at all (dirty floor, table and chairs), even the sheets were not changed (they had stains and were full of hair). We found a lot of crumpled towels and sheets in one of the closets in the apartment. Although there is a kitchen in the apartment, the basic equipment for cooking is lacking (for example, there is no wooden spoon). The equipment of the apartment is in need of maintenance (the chairs and table are wobbly, the tap is sideways and does not work well, the shower is also not in the best condition). In addition, during our stay (February) there was construction work going on in the apartment above us, which caused a loud noise from 7:30 in the morning that caused the walls to shake.
