"Peace and quiet, just what you need."

The location on the river is spectacular. The accommodation was well equipped and we did not want for anything. The host was extremely friendly and accomadating. Got the best lamb I ever tasted from the farm. Facilities are well laid out and private. Super safe and no keys, what a wonderful feeling

My only complaint is that I did not book a longer stay.

"Up the creek music festival"

A lovely location, neat and tidy. Perfect for a weekend on the river. Really liked having the bush camp to ourselves. Very private. Saw lots of different bird species! Breede River was lovely and warm in Feb.

Would not suggest this location for Up the Creek Festival as you need to drive at least 45 min to get to the entrance to the festival. The festival is not accessible by foot or car from the bush camp. Sadly, there wasn’t hot water on day 2, but fortunately the weather allowed for a cold shower.

Very well groomed and neatly set out. Lovely settings, very calm and restful

Distances on website are shorter than the actual distance and the Google maps and Waze takes you back towards Cape Town then onto the other side of the river. Bit confusing
