La Corte

J’ai séjourné deux nuits dans cet appartement lors de mon passage en Sicile, et tout était parfait. L’appartement est décoré avec goût et dispose de tout le nécessaire. Idéalement situé en plein centre de Catane, il permet de profiter facilement de la ville. La communication avec l’hôte a été excellente : une personne vraiment gentille et attentionnée, qui a su répondre à toutes mes demandes. Je recommande vivement cet appartement pour un séjour à Catane.

Rossella was an amazing host during our stay, she went above and beyond in giving us a list of suggestions of things to do during our trip, as well as always helped with any questions we had. The place was very clean.

Owner is a nice woman who is open and ready to help any time. Everything was clean, bad comfortable. Nice surprise was to see some snacks in apartment, together with some water and some coffee. Good bamboo toothbrushes, shampoo and shower gel were not the same and not just a soap 3 in 1. Nice silent area around.

There is obviously a problem with mould, but they cleaned/removed it. Important to know for people with asthma or some sort of allergies. Sound isolation not very good if you’ll get a loud neighbour, but in general there is calm area around. I’d like to see more than 1 tee bag, especially in cold time. Also with warmer blanket will be better in this time of year. Apartment nice, but without direct sunlight, and not freshly new.

The location, but its not that close to the center. There was a coffee machine with capsules.

The place didn't have hot water. The boiler was unplugged. When we arrived late at night we had to wait 45 min to take a shower because of that .Then the bathroom and the WC was all flooded because of the leak of the boiler. Then the next day the owner mentioned there was another boiler outside, which was of course disconnected and had to be opened. The attitude of the owner was like all this was normal and just mentioned there was a 'misunderstanding', when there were no instructions at all, and in any case this should just work. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were unusable. We found out someone had tried to take the keys from the key holder while we were away, which doesn't feel great. I do not recommend this place

The place is self catering so we sometimes cooked breakfast using the facilities provided in the place. The location is central and close to central train and bus stations. The owner Rossella always answered our messages when we needed her help. We had all towels and bed sheets changed half way through our stay (11 nights) free of charge. When once there was a problem with the front door lock , she had it fixed in no time .Finally she helped us with getting a taxi to the airport early in the morning. We are very grateful to her.
