"Awful letdow"

Nothing complete disaster.

Arrived at 4.30pm only to find out there was someone else in our accommodation. Was offered an alternative 10 minutes away, were advised it would need gas top up to be purchased but assured we would be refunded. Purchased £20 top up but still no gas and there was tv , Internet or phone signal. Had to keep walking out to main Rd to make calls to landlord. Not an ideal situation with two young children and after a day at the beach we definitely all needed showers. Landlord talked through and messaged several options on how to get things working but to no avail. Time was getting on so requested that he come to the apartment to help us. Then just before 8pm he messaged to say he had no car insurance !!!. We made the decision to move somewhere else n told him so. Trying to find somewhere at 8pm with 2 children and 2 dogs proved difficult and we ended up 60 miles away at a motorway service hotel through Booking.com. On talking to Booking.com they agreed to at full refund. Oh and I contacted the landlord with my bank details for the gas refund and guess what..... nothin
