The beds were comfortable and the location was what we expected.

We were not expected despite them having confirmation of our booking from Booking.Com the day before. Two hours of our visit to Ocho Rios were wasted trying to get lights and fans working downstairs(there was only aircon upstairs). The aircon upstairs did not work and there was no remote. Eventually they got it working but the temp could not be adjusted so they opened up the spare bedroom for our use which had aircon and a working remote. We were not able to pay in advance. Upon arrival they had no card machine. We received a phone call asking us to give our card details for payment which we did reluctantly(our bank was not happy). Our card was declined twice despite having plenty of money and never having been declined before. Our bank statement then had two large amounts as pending charges.....money that we could not spend. They then asked us to pay by PayPal which we refused and then one individual became quite threatening. After two nights we left without paying(a week later when the two pending amounts dropped off our account, we paid the amount by PayPal when in Canada). So much time wasting and forever clouds our memory of staying in Ocho Rios. The place was spacious but needed renovation work and was overpriced. Nobody told us about what to do to get beach access and there was often nobody in the office to talk to.

It was good only had the stairs problem but overall good oh and could use a bathroom down stairs
