GBGBSpacious room with shared bathroom (both nice and refurbished) and a very helpful host. Despite being close to a busy road, one barely hears the traffic due to the good windows. Overall a very comfy stay.
Unfortunately, not the best public transport access
BHI recently stayed at Maya Guest House for a week, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The location is excellent – five minutes walk to coldstore and 10 minutes walk to the park. Since I was there to help my daughter settle down for her study in the university, the house location was very Convenient to both city centre and Coventry university campus. The lady responsible for the accommodation was very attentive and always available to help, whether it was with recommendations or ensuring I had everything I needed. Her professionalism and kindness really made a difference. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
INStayed here for 4 days and 4 nights. The host (Maya) was communicative and made me feel comfortable during my stay. I had a smooth check-in and check-out. The furniture is well maintained, the cleaning supplies and kitchenware was all in good order. It was my first time in Coventry and I felt very comfortable here. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a short-time stay near University of Warwick, or just generally in Coventry.
The gas stoves aren't electric, so if you're planning to cook, maybe get your own lighter/matches. Also the bathroom light would go off once a while. These were minor issues for me though and didn't bother me too much, but just points to note!
GBGBWe used the parking to the rear rather than the nearby pub car park. Bathroom and kitchen looked to have been updated recently. Close to park and ride and not too far from supermarkets. Convenience store over the road. Easy check in with key safe.Small fridge in room. Heated up our own food.
Noisy, right on a main road (front room). Was a hot day and night and could not open the window because of traffic noise. No option to have a light summer sheet. Thick duvet only.TV in the lounge not working as no aerial connection. The fridge froze our pint of milk
GBThe whole house was spotlessly clean. I particularly liked the fridge in the room - nice touch. The bathroom looked brand new, bath and a shower, lots of shampoos, soaps etc. Plenty of towels. The kitchen is well equipped, enough to cook a good meal if needed. There is a row of shops 3 mins walk away and it's only a very short walk to the pub. It is in the perfect location for my work requirements. Communication with the owners was great!
No Wifi! If you are bothered by traffic noise then a rear facing room would be better. This is the only thing that would stop me from giving it a 5 star rating.

GBLocation was close to the 12X bus stop that brings you to the city centre easily. The host was very pleasant and responsive
There was only one mirror in the entire house. A minor inconvenience but can easily be fixed
