The Nook

Everything was great, except the bed was very uncomfortable.

Everything! Super friendly hosts, great garden, comfy bed, perfect to explore the Hakatere conservation park. All you need is located in Methven, lovely place to stay!

The Nook was so peaceful and had a fantastic view of the mountains and rural outlook.

Wasn't able to stay longer 😪

the owners were very friendly, great environment, stunning snow mountain view. kids loved this life style unit, we even experienced feeding chicken.

Bed was comfortable, shower was great.

Very disappointed with the kitchen facilities, hot plate didn't work very well, cutlery was old, plates were stained and chipped. Fridge wasn't turned on initially, but after I eventually found the switch to turn it on it froze everything. Only very basic items provided in old jam jars. Looks like they went for shabby chic, but only got as far as the shabby. Abundance of noise from adjoining house, washing machine banging, and constant voices. Paid for 3 nights but left after 2. Not value for money.

Great stay! Came for the peak to pub race and the Nook was perfect for my friends and I. Would 100% recommend!

Lovely hosts, very comfortable bed and quiet location. Everything you need for a short stay is provided. Awesome view out to the mountains and the farm.

I would've felt more comfortable if the door between the bedroom and the main house could be locked from the bedroom. This did not deter from the excellent stay.

Gorgeous little nook, really warm and cosy, well equipped for a few nights stay and great location, particularly for skiers! Lovely , welcoming hosts .
