Luana Waikiki Park Views - no resort fees

Property was nice, great food locations around the area. Beach was just down a couple blocks no issues highly recommended.

Walking distance to the beach, close to great shopping,dining, amenities museums. The hotel has a laundry facility, nice pool that isn’t insanely busy, and the room has a kitchenette.

It wasn’t understood prior to booking that the room is privately owned and isn’t managed by the hotel. If you need amenities (including more than 2 rolls of toilet paper), you are expected to contact the owner exclusively or have to procure it yourself. The hotel won’t have anything to do with you. The bed needed more than a sheet for bedding. There were blankets in the closet but they were all smaller than the bed. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall. Both the backs (that secure the batteries) to the remote control and the safe were missing. We weren’t able to use the safe. We reached out to the owner and didn’t hear back the first time. He did respond the second time with the request for toilet paper. The room isn’t bad, the situation was just a little weird.

The accommodation was very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed having the kitchen and also have beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels was really useful as we were on a stopover to Seattle so weren't equipped for a beach holiday. Billy very kindly have us a lovely check in which was so great as our flight arrived early morning. It was a pleasant walk to the beach which was great.

A more local, low key feel... Jimmy was great with communications Room was a bit old but very clean Great to have access to pool & gym although a shame we weren't allowed to partake in drinks & nibbles evenings put on by the hotel... Overall a comfy stay that was more reasonably priced...

A shame no coffee or tea in the room for guests... A nice touch to have the option as part of the stay... The first time this hasn't been available in all my stays around the world & at home....
