Azores Surf Center House

Sandra was easy to contact and we were helped with our issues quickly. Even though the house does not have AC, it was ok. Natural ventilaton was enough. There were even fans or small electrical heaters in every bedroom. Queen beds were low but comfy. Bunk beds had rather harder mattress. Parking with our three cars was ok, even though there is a popular Food truck/bar across the street and its guests coming with cars. This bar is a big advantage! It opens for early morning coffee and then from noon until 10pm. They serve a few snacks, have good coffee and beer for very reasonable prices! Popular among locals, with a relaxed atmosphere! The kitchen was well equipped to cook for a big crowd, coffee was provided. Wifi worked well downstairs, upstairs, not the whole area covered. The great St.Barbara beach is close ~5mins walk as well as the supermarket. Strategic location for rides across the whole island. Patio with its fireplace and grassy area we did not use. Key safe at the entrance is pretty handy for a large group.

Some kitchen lower cabinets with a pleat smell, but nothing serious. Two bedrooms with queen beds are facing main street. In the morning it gets noisy by trafic. Bunk bed bedrooms had no trafic noise.
