The Coop

Beautifully clean. Extremely thoughtful welcome gift (scones were some the best i've ever tasted!) and home comforts, extra pillows and blankets and even helpful provisions for the dog. Self check in was really simple and easy and great for parking the car right outside. Hot tub was wonderful and easy to use. It was so great to have a little grassy patch enclosed as well to give the dog a convenient place to go to toilet and catch a frisbee! Our dog absolutely loved it here and was very relaxed and settled. It was a perfect base to explore the area and the woods nearby (Swannacott Wood) were great for an early morning walk.

The sliding barn door to the bathroom was extremely difficult to move. The weather was a getting warmer and the Coop also - we really struggled to cool it down and as a result did not sleep very well as the air was stifling and one afternoon we couldn't stand it and sat in the car with air con on as out dog was getting too warm as well. We didn't communicate this with the owner so there may have been an option for an oscillating fan to at least move the air if we had. The front door catch was a bit temperamental to open and close but we think we got the knack in the end.

The property was very clean and tidy and had lots of thoughtful items to make the stay more comfortable eg items for the dog. The bed was comfortable, easy to find and the hot tub was great! Would definitely return.

We were absolutely blown away by how beautifully the interior design was. The whole place was spotless despite being dog friendly. The little luxuries such as cream tea and snacks were just the icing on the cake. There was no light pollution, so stargazing from the hot tub was lush. There are so many different wild birds too! Cannot fault it at all, very practical, luxurious, and an absolute bargain. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much, youre doing a great job!

Amazing little hideaway secure garden for the dog and every thing had been thought of she even left us some treats 😊

Not much hot water

The Coop was fantastic- property is to a very high standard and quality of finish. Hot tub a definite plus point. Good communication from Jo the property host. Quiet rural location. Nice welcoming touches such as a cream tea and fresh milk. Highly recommended

Lovely modern design, felt like home. Very private and quiet. Private hot tub is amazing. The hosts are so friendly and could not do enough for us. But we were also left to enjoy our stay. The welcome hamper was very nice and good quality.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but we gave this feedback to the hosts and they have now rectified this issue.

A lovely stay in the countryside. The bed is large, and the Coop is enough for two People. Everything is there to have a good time The jacuzzi at the end of the day is just perfect for relaxing

The only thing I can say is you have to take your car for visiting, everything is around 15 to 20min
