Floral Green Maple House

Easy to find, spotless apartment amongst many local eateries, yet quiet and restful after a long day sightseeing. An actual Reception which isn’t always the case with apartment booking so you can leave luggage plus take the great option of 1000Y bike hire for a day. Washer and full-size fridge/freezer useful also.

Nice location and nice staff

Room cleaning wasn’t available for our staying (5 nights), we did not like that.

Location- Very close to bus stop and Saiin Railway station. Clean room and bathroom Close to restaurants Kitchen.

There was communication issue with the reception

So clean and comfortable. It had a kitchen, washing machine and the shower room had a clothes drying system. Close to station and shops.

There is not enough chairs to sit. A sofa would have been better.

Exceptional in every way.

Very close to Sian station (note not a JR station, expect to pay between 170-300 yen for the rail connection into the city)). No issues finding property or getting into it. Good communication. Good spacious room. Accurate to photos. Kitchen and Wifi all working with no issues. If I were in Kyoto again I would most likely stay here.

Place was a little outdated and there was a very limited selection of cutlery and crockery. There was a bit of a mouldy smell off the AC which wasnt a huge issue for us during September but you might notice it more if you were here in the summer. The pillows were a little uncomfortable. One big thing I was uncomfortable with was if you checkin after 7pm they put a piece of paper with your door codes outside. This made me feel really uncomfortable that someone else could potentially have access to our room.
