Dated, with slow and unhelpful stuff

Very sorry and smelly

​I want to be fair, so I'll start with the positives. The location of The Saujana Resort is great, the environment is beautiful, and the pool is lovely. There is also ample parking, and the staff we encountered were generally helpful and pleasant.

The room lacks proper ventilation, leaving it with a permanent damp smell. We later found out why: there was no ventilation fan in the toilet at all, so all the moisture was trapped. To make matters worse, the AC blower only increased the humidity, making the air feel even more suffocating. We also faced safety and maintenance issues—a wall switch plug was practically coming off, the TV remote didn't work (staff sent new batteries but it didn't fix the issue), and the in-room fridge was faulty, leaving our drinks barely cold. Honestly, if we had at least arrived to a clean, safe, and non-damp room, we might have been more forgiving. But for a 4D3N stay priced at RM1200, I felt incredibly cheated and annoyed. A room in this condition belongs on OYO. To top it off, the housekeeping standards were shocking. Every time they cleaned, they would only replace the towels with a single towel. When we called to request the missing towels, face towels, and toilet floor mats—which are essential since the bathroom has a bathtub—we were told they couldn't provide them because there were "too many guests." For our entire stay, it was a strict case of "if you don't call, you don't get"; we had to call for basic towel facility every single day we stayed there. To their credit, bath towel was sent, albeit a long waiting time. ​The breakfast experience was just as sad, largely due to a complete lack of planning for a huge number of guests. On our first day, instead of managing the crowd, the staff just told us to find any available seats ourselves. We ended up standing around for a whole hour, holding our food with two kids in tow, just waiting for a table to clear up. When a resort has multiple blocks of rooms, managing crowd capacity should already be figured out. To top it off, the food lacked any effort; all three days we saw the same nasi lemak and a mee goreng that literally looked more like rice.

1. In room dining was horrible and very expensive ..paid so much but fod was not even up to standards. 2. Card locked me out on the second night and had to walk all the way to the reception. Receptionist told it was an error and made me walk again.
