Casa Don Ciccio is the ultimate dream destination! This meticulously decorated, recently renovated apartment seamlessly blends local charm with modern comforts, ensuring a warm and delightful stay in Positano. Steeped in history, the apartment retains its original doors and features a captivating old painting of the Virgin, immersing you in the town's rich heritage. With soundproof windows and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, it's a haven of tranquility. Accessibility is a breeze at Casa Don Ciccio, located just steps from the main road, requiring only a short descent of about six steps to reach the door. This convenience is a rarity in Positano, where many properties involve navigating numerous steep staircases. It's a godsend for travelers with bulky luggage. Situated in a prime location, the apartment allows you to explore with ease. It's a mere 15-minute stroll from the town center and within a stone's throw of Positano's finest restaurants. You can even grab a delectable pizza from the street below and enjoy it in the comfort of your apartment. Plus, Fornillo Beach is just a stone's throw away, and for those with a car, there are ample nearby parking options. This modern gem is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including a coffee maker, fully equipped kitchen for immersive culinary experiences, air conditioning in every room for sunny Positano days, a contemporary jacuzzi and Spanish shower for post-hiking relaxation, and Smart TVs with digital signals for entertainment on rainy days. Celeste's exceptional hospitality, from helping with luggage to arranging airport transportation, made our stay, for me and my wife, truly special. Her thoughtful welcome treats, including Prosecco, grapes, cheeses, and more, coupled with the mesmerizing Mediterranean views from the balcony, created unforgettable memories. Casa Don Ciccio was an absolutely phenomenal experience. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and authentic. They are a lovely family. We were met at the port by Francesca who helped with luggage and took us to the taxi stand to arrange a taxi to our vacation home. We were met at the home by her and her mother, Celeste. At the home we were given a walk through of the home and taught how to use appliances. The hosts had provided fresh fruit, local snacks/candy and filled the fridge with drinks and even olives. The home was spotless. The terrace had a beautiful view and I sipped limoncello on it daily. My mom enjoyed the Jacuzzi Tub. The hair dryer was exceptional and the shower water hot. The clothing washer efficient and detergent was even provided! The location was fabulous, about 15 minute walk to the main beach/ferry port and easy access to Fornillo beach via stairs (several but thats the nature of Positano you learn to love it and unless you’re beach front you can’t avoid it). There are several restaurants/stores close by. I liked Il Fornillo (which the hosts recommended) for restaurants. The hosts were able to accommodate a one hour late check out and were able to store our bags so we didn’t have to leave Positano sooner than we wanted. I wish I could give this place a 10/5. I recommend it without reservations. Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful experience.
