GBWhat I did like about the property was the location, with easy access to the main strip and local amenities. The kitchen was small but perfectly adequate for a short stay, the sofa was comfortable, and the bathroom, although compact, was functional. The owner also responded when contacted and I understood the position regarding a refund at short notice.
The areas that let it down for me were mainly the mattress quality and the cleanliness of the carpets. The living room carpet appeared in need of a proper deep clean. It may simply be that the property is regularly used by contractors or longer term workers, which naturally creates more wear and tear, but first impressions do matter. Perhaps even a polite note asking guests to remove shoes indoors could help preserve the place better. The mattress itself was a very basic open sprung mattress rather than pocket sprung, which is what most accommodation tends to offer these days. Unfortunately, as a 13 stone guy, my back was aching after the first night and I ended up booking alternative accommodation for the second night. Overall, I don’t think the property is terrible, but it felt far more low budget than the listing and current reviews had led me to expect.
GBLovely little apartment in the best area for drinks and food.The apartment was smart with nice furniture and everything you need, we would definitely go back to stay again.
There was only 2 things that let it down a tiny bit was there was no fan, as everywhere we've stayed there is usually one, as it was a scorching day and got in late, we had an uncomfortable, hot and sweaty night. So next day we had to go out and buy one. The other one was the freezer was in need of defrosting and had an old lolly in it so all in all just a couple of tweaks.

GBSet above a shop, behind Cleethorpes’ trendy Seaview Street - full of independent shops and bars - the apartment had everything I needed. Especially appreciated the smell of freshly laundered linen every time I got into bed. Very quiet, even though it is close to everything.
