Spectacular Ocean Views in Tranquil and Private Location

Fantastic location and very peaceful. Scenery was spectacular.

House was clean and warm abd we had everything we needed.

Outside shower was a bit weak on water pressure.

The property was spotless, comfortable, and in an excellent location. Set on a hill, it offered breathtaking views of the bay. It’s perfectly situated near the Deserted Village and the stunning Keem Beach—ideal for exploring Achill Island.

We are just back from our 5 night stay at this lovely property in dooagh on Achill island. The property was exactly as described when booking... We were a family group with a small dog and the property had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. 4 bedrooms , 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs..2 doubles and 2 singles.. 3 lovely bathrooms and showers..a lovely kitchen and sitting room... Fabulous views out over the Atlantic Ocean and less than 15 mins drive from both keel beach and for me the best beach in Ireland (Keem) Which just has to be seen to be believed. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing the free roaming sheep who just walk around everywhere.. on the roads.. In the gardens.. Up the hills... Just grazing and minding their own business but the kids loved to see them... The house is situated on a hillside overlooking the ocean about 2km from Keem bay ( it is an absolute must to visit this beach... Morning or evening it doesn't matter... Absolutely spectacular).. Our host Una was brilliant.. Although we didn't get to meet her she gave us very clear instructions about staying in the property and very good advice about various things to do and places to visit...I would really recommend to stay in this property if visiting Achill island.

I can't really say that I didn't like anything about the property.

The location is lovely and super close to Keem bay

The house was quite dirty, there was slime and scum all over the bathrooms and the bedrooms bed sheets had dust and marks all over them that felt grimy. There was no fresh towels when we arrived and we had to wait to the next day. The cleanliness in the kitchen was also sub par with marks and old food in fridge and cupboards. the front door came off it's hinges, a cupboard came off it's hinges and there were missing instructions for appliances which prevented us from cooking. We had to have a repair man to come to fix things (the door would hang off and was dangerously sticking out anytime we opened the main drawer) which disrupted our plans of going out and enjoying our holiday. The host was not responsiveness as someone else was monitoring messages as the host was hospital?

We loved this house! So comfortable, modern, and clean. It was the perfect space to chill out in, with beautiful sea views. We loved exploring the island, and also looked forward to getting back to the house as it was a joy to spend time there. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, we all slept like babies. Perfect stay for our girls trip. Couldn’t recommend this place more!
