CZThe hosts were a really nice Italian couple who welcomed us personally. The apartment has two truly separate bedrooms plus a small bed in the kitchen. Lake Iseo is a 10-minute drive away, and Lake Moro is also about 10 minutes by car or a 30-minute hike. An archaeological site with prehistoric engravings is within walking distance, as is a small aquapark. Still, if your budget allows, consider staying in Pisogne, Lovere, or nearby towns. The apartment has all the necessary amenities. Must be perfect to stay for 1-2 nights on your way from the North to the South, but no so good for the long stays (see cons below).
t’s really hard for me to write this review, because the hosts were genuinely kind, and I knew I had to compromise when booking a two-bedroom apartment for five people for just slightly over €100/night. That said, please keep the following in mind: Noise and heat: The apartments are located right next to a main road connecting several villages and towns, which is very noisy throughout the day - and even at night. They're also extremely hot in summer. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but one of them didn’t work. The owner apologized and brought us a stand-alone fan, which was very loud, and after the first night, it began making even more noise due to worn-out bearings and a lack of lubrication. As a result, I woke up 4–5 times each night because of the heat and noise. This might not be an issue in winter. Busy surroundings: The apartments are located at a busy corner with several shops and offices. While free parking is usually available, it’s still a very crowded and noisy area - even on Saturdays. Trash disposal: Waste (plastic, organic, etc.) should be placed in bins outside the apartment. However, we weren’t given a schedule for when to put the bins out for collection - perhaps the hosts assumed the outside bin space would be sufficient. Unfortunately, a group of 4–5 people generates much more waste in one week than can fit in the small drawer-like bins outside the flat. I recommend that future guests be given the local waste collection schedule, along with an explanation of how the Italian system works.
