North Shore Garden Suite

A lovely spot on the North Shore. Beautiful house and gardens with the 2 rental studios adjacent. The pool looked fabulous although we didn't get a chance to swim. We were allowed to take lychees off the tree and they were amazing. The host's daughter met us and she was wonderful and offered some good advice re snorkelling and food spots. The accomodation was very pretty and good to have a kitchen to use too.

There property was in a great location for a lot of tourist spots!

It was unclean, the ac unit is incapable of cooling the residence, the windows don’t bring in cold air because of the positioning of the property. Geckos were scarred all within the residence because of old cracked windows and doors that cannot completely shut. Ant piles localize under furniture and cracks of doors, and there was stains/piles of geckos poop all across the residence.

We had an amazing 5-night stay at the North Shore Garden Suite in Pupukea! When we arrived, the fridge wasn’t working, but Kathleen immediately replaced it. Talk about great hospitality! The pool was beautiful and so relaxing, and both Kathleen and her daughter were incredibly kind, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts or a better stay. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the North Shore!

Cute suite within easy short driving distance of everything on the North Shore, and with access to a large network of hiking trails just a couple houses down. Hosts are very responsive. They upgraded the WiFi while we were there, it’s very fast now. As is fairly typical for houses in Hawaii, there is no central air, but the AC unit in the living area works fine to cool down the bedroom. They have beach equipment and snorkels for the guests to use. Bed was very comfortable!

Part of life in Hawaii unless you stay at a huge resort: there were some bugs in the suite (mostly ants) and one small lizard. Again, I think this would be an issue most places but something to realize if you do stay here.
