Very inattentive owner. The water was cold, lukewarm at best. He insisted it was “hot” enough and didn’t even bother to check or visit the accommodation. There is no internet upstairs, at least it wasn’t working when we arrived. We informed the owner yet he did absolutely nothing. AC goes on and off randomly. No iron, bring your own. Cockroaches. Everywhere. Counted four at least. See image. The WhatsApp location is wrong, the house is further downhill. Overall, a pretty bad experience, couldn’t wait to check out of this “accommodation”.
GBThis was a lovely house with a great view of the valley that it's situated in. The balcony is amazing. The keys were stored in a safe, which was easy to access once I had the keycode. The kitchen was well supplied. I found it to be a great base away from the main towns and cities.
It was difficult to get hold of the host via the app. We had a lot of back and forth (only in Portuguese, so I was using Google translate a lot) trying to sort sharing my passport details - I had to send a copy of my passport to their personal hotmail account, which made me a bit uncomfortable (but it is legitimate and the same email as is on their rental permit that is on the wall in the house). I think a better written welcome message from the host, with clearer instructions on what to do with passport images etc. would help solve this. I would have preferred to have got the lockbox code before the day of arrival too. The place has parking, but has a very steep hill to access it.

FRC'est perdu dans la cambrousse mais c'est justement ce que nous avons apprécié. Très propre et immense
DERuhige Lage im Norden der Insel. Sehr saubere Unterkunft. Die Küche und auch der Rest des Hauses waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Würde jederzeit wieder hier Übernachten.
War alles in Ordnung.
