Champa Inn Hotel

Das Hostel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße im Zentrum. Von oben hat man eine super Aussicht.

Die Zimmer sind extrem klein. Kaum Platz fürs Gepäck. Außerdem war es leider relativ dreckig. Nicht nur der Boden im Zimmer, sonder auch die Toiletten. Die angebotenen Touren, Taxis etc. sich teurer als normal. Han zB die Heißluftballon Tour bei Mr Kham gebucht, welche im Hostel mehr als 10$ teurer gewesen wäre. Auch bei der Buchung von einem Tuktuk behält das Hostel 1/3 des gezahlen Preises selber.

La chambre avec la climatisation a fond et qui fuit (eau au sol, sur les sacs). Un frigo. La chambre minuscule pour 8lits (chambre femmes). Pas de place pour mettre nos affaires. Une douche sur les deux avec de leau chaude. Deux douches pour l'étage soit plus de 15 personnes.

The location is why I booked this place; it's right in the middle of Vang Vieng, but on a side street between the two north-south main roads. Close to restaurants, trip booking, ticket booking (but you always are in VV). Comfy beds - not too hard, not too soft. In-house laundry service available (changed to 30k from 40k/kg during my stay). In-house breakfast options available for 50k a serve, although options are limited to scrambled eggs on toast and 2 pancakes with banana slices and condensed milk drizzled on top. A little something to get your day going without the need to go out. The staff were a bit cold at first, but warmed up to me a lot during my stay to show that they're actually pretty cool and attentive. I reported a couple of problems and they acted on them immediately.

There was loud music playing a lot of the time, and usually from more than one source.

Volunteers on the bar were amazing. Really helpful. Very sociable on the rooftop. Bed was ok.

I had the worst bed in a corridor space within the room, unable to charge my stuff and no light where my bed is. The reception staff were ok, but one of the older men was a bit rude. Reception staff also took ages to book things that would be so simple and easy to do.
