Forest View Shepherd Hut Stag hut

It was a bitter cold weekend, but was still very warm and cozy. The view relaxed and calmed you with the twittering of birds all around, that made it that little bit extra lovely. Hosts were amazing, helped in anyway possible and went the extra mile to make our weekend unforgettable. This overall weekend stay will always be remembered and aslong they would have us back. We will be back again for sure. Thank you both again so much.

We loved our stay at Forest View Shepherds Hut. The owners have thought of every little thing to make your stay perfect. This is our second time visiting and we will 100% be back!

Perfect place for getaway, we feel like a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️hotel

Just a fantastic place to stay. The hut is well equipped with all the comforts you could want for a stay. It was warm and cosy with the fire on and the location is great for walking and shopping.

There was nothing to not like.

The chickens and Shetland pony. Quiet. Compact.

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend and it was so magical! The hut itself was very clean and you have everything you need, the bed was super comfy also. The little touches and attention to detail made it that extra special and the continental breakfast was a nice addition. The location was prefect and plenty of walks around the local area and picturesque villages/towns. Being able to sit outside the hut with a glass of wine and dinner and being nestled around the fire pit with marshmallows was so blissful and relaxing. Not to mention being surrounded by the chickens, ponies and geese/ducks was what made it that all the more memorable. We will most definitely be back!

It's a lovely family farm. Animals- chicken, ducks and small horses, you can watch them very close and also you can feed then! Surprisingly, it's was super clean and no smells from animals- When I stayed, it was very hot - the temperature went up 31 degrees. Inside out, very clean. I also liked the quietness. There are family houses near by but I hardly saw nor hear anyone.

The bathroom light comes on automatically when you open the door. I found it little bit annoying. I drove from London and found roads were little bit scary. If you have never drove countryside, it could be challenging to get there by driving.
