Comfy downtown hideaway with urban touch

Location was very central and quiet

Everything was as described on Booking.com. Andrea, the host was very nice. We stayed in apartment 2A. The apartment is beautiful, very modern, very clean. It was recently restored and the old high ceilings were preserved with the ould corner and central mouldings. The living room is very spacious, with two sofas and a dining area for 6 people. It is very central, close to several bus stops and metro stations. It takes only cca 10 min to reach the Danube bank.

Probably in an attempt to preserve the interior atmosphere, the windows, and the doors (including the main entrance) have not been changed. Thus the apartment is drafty and difficult to heat, despite the central heating system - we were visiting around the New Year and it was cold outside. I suspect this means it is difficult to cool down in summer Also, the poor insulation of the windows means you hear all the noises in the street. It was particularly loud at night, especially as there is a bar below the apartment, and from Friday to Sunday people stayed outside and shouted until 3 am. The main bedroom is the worst, and the living room. From the second bedroom you cannot hear it, but that room has only a very small window opening into a very tiny inner space. Also, the apartment is on the second floor and there was no elevator - so do not bring heavy luggage. There is a limited amount of plates, forks and knives in the kitchen (we were 3 people and had cutlery/plates/glasses for 4 people...) which means you have to keep washing them, making the dishwasher's presence obsolete....

Property itself was very clean and very modern and just very comfortable , location was amazing as well all activities as well as pubs/ clubs and restaurants all walking distance from the property, city centre also very close if you want to do some sit seeing.

Property on second floor so A lot of stairs.

Really spacious and great location. All needed things can be found there.

It was a bit too hot in one of the bedrooms as it does not have AC.
