"Lovely house in the country - Great value for money"

Lovely house in the countryside with private parking in front of the house. Nice garden. It felt like home. Lots of space. The kitchen was fully equipped including washing machine pods and dishwasher pellets. House was well appointed with lots of extras including books to read and binoculars for bird watching. Bedrooms and bathroom were upstairs. Very comfortable. Everything was clean. Easy to find and easy self check-in. Nearby gas stations which sells basic necessities.

A bit far from Berwick-on-Tweed and supermarkets (about 15 mins) but not an issue with a car and we knew that when we booked.

"Great"

Great location and great size. Value for money was excellent. We got sunny weather so could sit outside with a few drinks, kitchen well equipped and stocked. Good value for money.

Only 1 toilet roll left in the toilets, minimal soap left and a few sheets of kitchen roll. No biggie considering the price but added a job to our list on arrival. Obviously not the Birdhouse’s fault but the pub next door was awful - cook at home!

"Lovely house, beautiful place"

A lovely house, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Close to the A1 but the birdsong was louder than the traffic noise! We managed to park three small cars (just). They even provided binoculars and bird books! The visit was for my big birthday and we had a first rate weekend. A delightful day on Holy Island and another on boat trip to Farne Islands. Thank you; we'd love to stay again.

Nothing, except we didn't want to leave. The pub next door was pretty average, not special.

"Exceptional"

It is a lovely house just on the road to Lindesfarne Island. There is a hotel next to it with a pub so you can eat in. The location is very good and acceptable. The interior is beautiful. It was cozy.

They have turned off our heating on the second day adjusting it to 22 degrees calcium. We could put more than that as it was locked. 22 was cold to us. It was ridiculously rude of the owner as we pay enough to decide what temperature is good for us. Also no answering after 10pm and before 10am. If you need something you are lost.
