RSBy far the best accommodations I had during my 4 week stay in Phu Quoc. It is tucked in the northeast part of the island where big capital still hasn't arrived and it's in a very stark contrast to how rest of the island has been developing. It's basically just 10 bungalows right on the beach and a restaurant. There's really not much to complain here, room was big, restaurant is quite nice and so is the price. You can also rent a scooter from them. If you're looking for a quiet place to rest in Phu Quoc, this is the one.
Trash. They clean the beach of the resort every day, but as soon as you leave the area of resort you can see a lot of trash on the beach. Resort is sort of in a middle of no where, you won't be finding an ATM anywhere close so stock up on cash.

CAThe beach cabin had a great bed and a hot water shower! The ownership and staff were super friendly and FUN, they were excellent with google translate when needed and we laughed our way to friendship together. The beach bonfire was fun and they drove us 40 Kms to our next guesthouse to allow us a smooth transition for our travels. The somewhat rustic setting is a welcoming retreat from the crowds on the south of the island. I highly recommend this property

DEWe had the most amazing time at Bai Thom Retreat. We can't recommend staying there enough. It was the most peaceful and calm that we have felt in a long time. We stayed here for one week and wish we could've stayed even longer. It is so beautiful there and you can truly feel that everyone is doing their best to make this place so special. The rooms and the beach is very clean. They collect all the trash that is coming from the ocean every single day. The food is delicious. We are both vegetarians and they even made special vegetarian dishes for us even though they were not on the menu. You can even rent scooters here to explore the beautiful area. All of the dogs that they have here are also very cute and friendly. You can tell that they take good care of them. If you meet a small black dog named Tofu, please say hi to her from us ;)
There is nothing not to like. Everything is as perfect as it could be and we are sure that you will love your time here just as much as we did.
