Golden View Cottage Ooty

Still, refund awaited, Staff was fine, Toilets were unhygienic. This is in one of the slum areas of Ooty. Almost 4-5 km from the city. I would not recommend anybody to go to this Cottage, Nothing around all the Slum area. No shops, No place to park the vechile, Very narrow road. No compound wall next to the cottage, if we walk in the night might fell downstairs. Lot of mosquitoes and dirty septic smell was coming in bedrooms and bedsheets had dirty stains. Not recommended to anybody. Please do not go it is just a trap to make money. The owner(SafarAli) promised to get back the amount. Almost 15 days now. He still not given. We with family did not stay 2mins also in the Golden veiw Cottage. Please remove this cottage from booking.com.

AVOID, DON'T BOOK, Absolute waste of money 1. Away from main city, no restaurants nearby 2. extremely dirty room, bedsheets had black spots, when I asked to give clean sheets the care taker said all sheets are like this 3. Bathroom had no hooks to keep our clothes, sink tap bery slow 4. I wasn't even given drinking water, i had to buy water can on my own 5. TV doesn't work 6. There is no 24/7 reception desk

Already I made payment us per booking (15000) They asked GST it's never show on the booking When I go for a final payment.just ask me to pay gst It’s not right Same time very rude Really unexpected Why they need to give clarification right They called me mental recorded all the conversations I going to make proper complaint against the staff Because won’t happen to others

The property was very neat and clean. The place was a little away from the city but not very far. So it was very comfortable and peaceful. The caretaker was very helpful and very nice to us.

The road is a bit narrow. But cant complain as most of the roads in ooty are like that.

Very spacious property and the staff interaction was amazing.

Cleanliness and Staff behavior

The tv was not working and also the location was too congested. Parking is very bad.
