Echt eine ruhige und schöne Oase mit direktem Strandzugang. Jeder Bungalow hat eine Hängematte und Sitzplätze und auch an der Strandfront viele EntspannungsMöglichkeiten. Die Fähre aufs Festland ist zu Fuß (5 Min.) am Strand entlang erreichbar. Das Personal ist super freundlich und das Frühstück war lecker. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben.

Lovely place a short walk from the San Jose port, we really liked this quiet little place and it was great value for money, the owners were really nice and helpful. The wind off the lake keeps the room cool and insects away.

Location right on the lake. Breeze keeps heat and bugs down. Cabin had what we needed. Sleeping to sound of waves. Garden attractive. Quiet. Decent value. Probably walkable to the minor ferry port (we didn't as used main port). Friendly staff. Bar sells 2L water bottles.

Really nothing. It's not really much of a beach, the waves are at the garden wall, with steps in. The variable on/offshore breeze would make beach toys and kayaks rather hazardous without good skills and precautions, so don't bring them. The shower curtain rail could do with securing better, it's a bit heavy to take on one's foot - fortunately it missed.

Beautiful property with well tended gardens in a peaceful location ,15min walk from San José port. Our bungalow was 5 steps from the lake shore, with a nice view of volcan Maderas. The room was dated,but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Staff were charming,wifi strong, breakfast solid and well presented. We had a lovely late afternoon swimm right infront of our bungalow.

The bed matress and pillows were thin and hard. Water pressure in the shower(cold water only) was very weak. The in house restaurant prices are rather expensive.

Lovely staff. Gorgeous location with views of both volcanoes. Right next to the lake. WiFi okay for working but sometimes there are power cuts (same in all the country). Restaurant also really tasty.

Could’ve been slightly cleaner bathroom but it was overall clean

The location of this accommodation was perfect. The surroundings and views were beautiful. The staff is very nice. We had a problem with the fan immediately upon arrival, but they immediately and willingly solved the problem. Breakfast was simpler but very tasty. The staff helped with a trip around the area for a very reasonable price. They also cooked us very tasty food. I recommend this place one hundred percent.

A few minuses could be found. There is no air conditioning, but the fan helped a lot. They only have cold water here, but it was basically lukewarm, so it was refreshing. The road here was muddy and without light, but if you go by taxi it's not a problem, we walked from the main road, so we were muddy.
