AUThe heating didn't really do the job (it was a cold night), but the electric blanket saved the day.
Older property but good value for money.
AUClose to town. Very comfortable lounge area, the beds were comfy, heaters in all the rooms. The kitchen had tea and coffee.
Maybe it was because of all the rain and it was locked up. But it was smelly, musty. The hand basin only dribbled water. The shower was good.

NZExcellent stopover location in the heart of Matamata. Great instructions and pamphlets for guests using the property. Walking distance to the Info centre in town. Comfortable living quarters with a beautiful outdoors entertainment area. Loved that the toilet was separate to the bathroom.
Shower was quite small, any larger person may have trouble getting in and out.

MYNZLocation was great Owner dropped off extra heater.
Was very cold house... on arrival it was freezing, and stayed cold till just before midnight,then warmed up with help of the heaters. Had to move electric blanket to the bed we were using. Cause beds felt damp so we left electric blanket on for a couple hours before bedtime. No fireplace like it says in advert. Owner said it didn't work but house is for sale and it doesn't say fireplace needs repair in for sale advert so I'm assuming it's just to keep it all in good condition for sale. Ash in fire place so must've worked in recent past. Bathroom walls moldy. Cold. Heater didn't work in there. Left heat light on just to warm up the room slightly.
