Authentic Swedish family home on the archipelago

My experience was not good at all. Communication was never directly with the owner, only through assistants, which made everything more difficult. There were several issues during our stay: the heaters did not work properly, the water system had problems, and we were unable to wash dishes or shower comfortably. We were promised a refund by the owner’s assistants due to these inconveniences, but it was never processed. Considering the price they charge, there are much better cabins available with proper facilities and much better communication. I would not recommend this place.

Es ist ein sehr gemütliches schwedisches Häuschen, absolut ruhig gelegen. Auf dem Grundstück befinden sich unterschiedlichste gemütliche „ Ecken“ zum Verweilen. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und steht bei Fragen sofort zur Verfügung. Wir hatten sogar das Glück einen Elch in der Nähe des Hauses zu sichten. Nach Stockholm kommt man wunderbar mit der Fähre, die von Nacka Strand startet und zum öffentlichen Nahverkehr gehört. Und… im Herbst gibt es Unmengen an Pilzen in den Wäldern.

Ein wenig herausfordernd ist die Anleitung wie man Türen zu verschließen und zu öffnen hat und wie die Thermostate geregelt werden. Aber, es ist zu schaffen. Irritiert hat uns, dass es keinen direkten Zugang zum Gewässer gibt, das hatten wir gemäß der Fotos und der Lage gemäß Google Maps erwartet.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofia’s house in Stavsnäs. The house was spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The silence and peace in the middle of the forest are truly surreal — we slept incredibly well, and the beds were very comfortable. Sofia is always available to solve any problem, and if contacted, she responds promptly. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. A beautiful and authentic Swedish stuga.

Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very cozy, super clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and efficient. The location is absolutely quiet—ideal for relaxation. One morning, we even saw a Reindeer 🦌 passing by the path, which was a truly memorable highlight. Both the bus stop and a supermarket are within easy walking distance of about 20 minutes, making everything very convenient. Stavsnäs is an idyllic little village, perfect for exploring the archipelago and unwinding in nature. We would definitely love to come back!

Alles war super! Die Lage ist nah am Hafen und am Supermarkt, aber dennoch mitten im Wald. Auch ist man in ca. 5 Fahr-Minuten bei einem der vielen Seen und bei der Bäckerei. Die Ausstattung war ebenfalls top – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

It's a real Swedish fully equipped summer cottage. We stayed in winter. It was very romantic in the snowy forest. The house was comfortabel warm and also equipped with a chimney and Netflix and other channels via ChromeCast. The beds were good and everything was very clean. We could easily cook our meals for 6 persons in the kitchen. The house was close at the boat terminal to Sandhamn and other islands in the archipelago. Also Stockholm was not far with our rental car.

Nothing. It was a perfect holiday. Tack så mycket, Sofia!
