İstanbul Airport Black Sea Hotel

Knowing it is a bare bones 3 star, used for a 8 hr layover, it worked great. On the sea with strolling at sunset very enjoyable.

Every owner needs to take lessons from Mahmut, he is great owner and companion, i had problem with flight, every other owner can just cancel my order and forget about it, but Mahmut is different in good way, he accepted and understood my problem, thank u!

It was welcoming, it was located next to the beach.

The place was in the middle of a ghetto! I decided to leave right away and didn't seek a refund, i ran as hard as i could. OMG!

It's not very clean.

It is a great spot for anyone transferring through the new IST airport and wanting to take a short break by the Black Sea. The hotel is directly by the beach and offers lovely and personalized service. Rooms are simple but clean and fine for a couple of nights. Great value for price. 25 minute taxi ride to the airport.

When choosing additional services on site, e.g. ordering dinner in the hotel restaurant, make sure to know prices in advance to avoid surprises. Watch out there is nothing around but a small convenience store. Bring cash.

The stairs were to steep, the bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom was tiny

We spent just one night there. We were pleased with the location, but the stairs that lead to the rooms are extremely narrow, making it difficult to carry your heavy, two-large bags upstairs. I also ordered soup for dinner, but after two hours of waiting, I had to call them again, and they offered an apology saying they had forgotten. They turned off the hot water at night and turned it back on at around 7:30 am, so when I woke up early at 6 am to shower and get ready, there was no hot water. I went to pay for my soup before we left, but their efpos machine wasn't working, so he kept turning it on and off without success. Our Uber driver was waiting, so he told me not to worry. It cost $12lira for the soup. Away from the bustle, the place is lovely and peaceful. Seeing this side of Istanbul was beautiful. We only needed a room to sleep and take a shower, and that's what we got, so I would suggest this place if you're looking for somewhere affordable. My husband was fortunate to have a hot shower because he woke up later and was able to watch his rugby match on Chromecast on the TV.

We stayed here twice when traveling through Istanbul for a holiday to sleep during a night layover. The first room we stayed at was dirty - the floors, the bathroom had mold and dirty towel on the floor. There is no sound isolation what so ever, so you can hear planes coming through every 10-15 mins.
