GBONE BATHROOM WAS COLD AS HEATED TOWEL RAIL DIDN'T WORK.
GBGBGBA tastefully modernised property with lots of space and light. Very well equipped and beautifully maintained.
GBGBLoved the house with the large rooms, especially the kitchen and living room. The bedrooms were very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location, on the edge of Berwick-upon-Tweed is excellent for beaches and a wide variety of local attractions, particularly Holy Island and Bamburg Castle.
Although the weather was mostly warm and sunny the house could be cold with no way to adjust the heating. There were towel rails in the bathrooms but no way to turn them on. The plinth heaters in the kitchen did not work.
GBFirstly, we stopped in the hosts neighbouring property which has only recently been finished, after their help. The property has recently been finished and to a very high standard too. I can honestly say I was blown away by the property, the main living room was way more than I expected. The upstairs bedroom, where I stopped, was large, airy and a haven of calm and restful sleep. Just stunning and thank you to the host for all their help too, as it is not just the property that makes the stay.
