The Durham hotel

The location and views of the beach are wonderful with wide bay windows. The owners are friendly without being imposing. Overall a lovely relaxed place to stay.

Excellent host. Large comfortable bedroom with sea view. Delicious cooked breakfast. Central location with choice of eateries close by. Excellent value for money!

Only gripe was hot water very intermittant in shower mostly cold. Yet hot tap had very hot water.

Really helpful friendly staff, i asked for on foot direction and they directed me easily and simply so i could remember. Also breakfast the same man was lovely and a ladie from the kitchen also was very chatty. Also catered to my breakfast request.

Maybe decor could have improved generally, my room was nice and cost effective

The location was good, staff very helpful and friendly. It was our wedding anniversary and we requested a room with a sea view which we got.

beds comfy, had sea view room as it was avaiable, host were great and breakfast very nice

needed tlc in places, no tea/coffee in room, it was in lounge but no milk available

The location is excellent with a lovely sea view. We enjoyed the breakfast , and the friendly hosts . It really made our morning to hear the host singing away while he was busy in the kitchen. Lovely singing voice .
