Layout was very good. Clean and comfortable

No list of what to do upon checkout eg: where to put rubbish, what to do about bedding, towels etc

They have a lovely woodburner, but there was no kindling or lighters

Amazingly clean, very spacious and very nicely done!

Clean, Comfortable and nice and warm when we arrived also tea and coffee provided.

Trying to find the property in the dark as the sign was covered by bushes. No hooks on any doors to hang items.

Misleading property description. It is not a 2 bedroom house with a garden view but a basement flat with a very restricted garden view. Larger towels for the shower are required.

The communication was thorough and helpful. The location was good as only a minute walk to the town. The basement flat was beautifully decorated, maintained and stylish, comfortable and thoughtfully, spaciously arranged. The kitchen had a washer machine/ dishwasher and oven plus fancy microwave and lots of utensils, the wood burner was lovely, furnishings etc. the shower was hot and generous, the bathroom was really stylish and lovely Rituals toiletries were left out for us.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Tiny tweaks would be a mirror in the bigger bedroom with the vanity unit would be appreciated. Also a few throws in the lounge and bedrooms as it would have been a cosy touch where the weather is autumnal. My daughter said the smaller bedroom would have benefited from a thick mattress topper. These are not complaints at all. We had an amazing stay. We would definitely stay again. We met one of the hosts who didn’t intrude but also was happy to help with anything.

A re-purposed basement decorated & furnished to the highest standard. A most commendable attention to detail with 2 exceptions.

Whilst there is a traffic mirror to the right of the exit, positioned high up, it fails to help you drive out, being so small. The corner is a traffic accident waiting to occur! Please don’t ignore this comment, it is vital to take action about it. Secondly, as an ex-professional hotelier involved in a large-scale hotel fire, I would question whether the bedroom windows offer a legally acceptable emergency exit. I would suggest checking this with the fire/police, and taking their advice. It isn’t a large job to widen the wall outside to an acceptable level, before you end up with a large court case. I offer these comments with the best of goodwill, having thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your accommodation, which we would wish to book again.
