ILIt is a comfortable room with small kitchen inside and hot big shower with hot water. The location was good but I had a bike so it was easy getting from place to place.
The WiFi was a bit slow some nights
RUAdvantages — the price/quality ratio is excellent. Very clean, the apartment is of a normal size, there is even a balcony. The beach is less than 10 minutes on foot, which is also very convenient. Same for supermarket. Cute hostess (manager?). What I didn't like: There's a construction site nearby, and sometimes it was VERY noisy. You can hear the trains very well too. Breakfasts were not available (but on booking there was an option). Upon arrival, there was no blanket (sheet) on the bed. The kitchen is very minimalistic (not a big problem, but there wasn't even a cooking spatula). Host asked to check out at 10, although the booking indicated 11, and the previous tourists were until 12. In the end, we agreed on 12, but it is unclear why we had to defend it.
GBi would recommend this stay for anyone, the owner was kind and helpful and let us do laundry, the property was clean and tidy, its location was a short walk from local restaurants and the beach.

NZGood sized room, loved having a kitchenette and fridge, good wifi, not far to shops and cafes. Very good value. Not far from train tracks but didn’t really bother us at all.
LKValue for money. Kitchen facility and intruments ( including gas cooker) very usefull to prepare quick meals. And also there was a refrigerator as well.
PLvery nice location close to the beach but at the same time a bit out of the way in the jungle, nice and quiet, fresh rooms, great facilities, they have literally everything, nice and helpful hosts, I highly recommend

NZGBThe place was great! The room is designed to have everything you need. Double bed, roof fan, air-conditioning, fully installed and equipped kitchen, fridge, balcony fast Wifi, and en suit bathroom with working hot showers! Shakula and his family are great people, always there yo assist with your needs! Location is ideal, less than 10 mins walk into the centre of town and less than 5 to the beach! Ideal if you're looking to stay close into the town and surfs but don't want the noise of the busy city centre.
