Location good but needs a car to get places. House really lovely and so individualistic. Very low ceilings. Great to have enough bathrooms for everyone. Garden a big bonus

Enough rooms with almost all with attached bathroom, Very nice kitchen with all what we needs..clean toilets Lots of living and dining areas and nice garden space. Very good for getting together with families..

We had a wonderful stay at The Star in Lydd. The house is full of charm and character, with plenty of space, making it perfect for a large family gathering. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed — lots of crockery, cutlery, and glasses — and the welcome basket was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch. The location is fantastic. Lydd is a peaceful and historic village, ideally situated for exploring Dungeness, Camber Sands, Rye, and the stunning Romney Marsh. Having private parking at the back of the house was also a real bonus. One of the highlights was the converted music room, which made for a very comfortable and quiet bedroom. Everyone found their space to relax and enjoy the house. Communication with our host, Mary, was excellent. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and responsive throughout, and even helped arrange a pre-visit for a family member, which we truly appreciated. A beautiful house in a lovely location — we made great memories here and would happily return!

Truly an incredibly stay. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier place in terms of having loads of space, huge number of bathrooms, spacious kitchen to cook with everything you need along with a delightful garden and table outside.

We were 4 families including 7 kids & a pup & house suited our needs perfectly. Good location for exploring the Kent coast. Lovely welcome basket & kitchen well stocked with all you could need.

Had a really great weekend at the Star. Very comfortable and well-equipped house with real character. Great location to explore South Kent.
