Sunrise Cabin at First Light Rangihaeata Retreat

The cute cottage, beautiful view, the comfy bed and amazing shower!! We decided to book this because of the heavy rains, could not have made a better decision!!

Basically nothing, you know that the toilet is a walk of 20 seconds but they appreciate a pee outside as well so all good! ;) And the Room with a view ( toilet) is amazing! Interesting how this compost system works, it still smelled very fresh!! :)

Location was great. Peaceful and quiet. The cabin looks idyllic. Shower itself was very nice.

Not having a bathroom and toilet attached is kinda annoying. If you're more of a camping person then I guess it will be fine. If you want to go to toilet in the middle of the night you'll be happy if you don't break anything going down the stairs and walking a distance in the dark.

- I felt quite uncomfortable that the doors for the shower and toilet didn't lock and that people could potentially see in the window to the shower. - No washing up liquid or alternative for dishes

It's such a peaceful place, great to relax in. There are so many amazing things to explore in the area.

I loved everything about this property. It was perfectly clean. I could not fault anything about this cute little chalet. Sleeping quarters was upstairs (via ladder) up in an A-framed ceiling/loft. The peacefulness and serenity of the chalet. sitting out on the deck having a few, and enjoying the view. I would love to come back again.
