The Barn

Beautiful peaceful location without being too far from key attractions and areas. Emma the host was fab and was very prompt in dealing with any queries. A wonderful surprise seeing the deer on our doorstep!

The Barn was such a lovely place to stay in such a beautiful setting. It was so secluded and private with unbelievable views out into the countryside. The host was super helpful, and the property itself had everything we could need, including an amazing hot tub. It really was a perfect place for a relaxing getaway.

Fantastic location away from people for a bit of us time with my wife for our 10 year anniversary. Directions were good and on arrival it was just as we had hoped, out the way but close enough to walk into the beautiful village of eyam, there's a fair walk to the barn from the car park but it was more than worth it as the barn and it's views are amazing. The barn itself is very modern and clean and we were surprised to find tea coffee and milk had been left along with bits to clean up and wash pots etc, it was warm and cosy and I'd quite happily live in it to be honest. The welcome pack was useful and we spoke to the owner and her husband who were friendly and told us some places to try for food which we did, these are included in the welcome pack along with takeaway menus The village is full of history and there is plenty to see and do within walking distance We will be booking again at some point in the future

Everything was perfect. Location, area, facilities, and the peace and quiet. Having the deer come to say hello every evening was a touch

Absolutely stunning accommodation, never stayed anywhere so beautiful 😍 breathtaking views, very private and everything you need in the barn. Totally in love with the place and will definitely come again! Thank you so much to the hosts.

We had a weekend trip to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary, The Barn is a beautiful property to relax in, with the breathtaking views and hot tub, really feels like a treat. Emma met us on arrival and explained how to find the accommodation. Everything is sign-posted for parking space etc so very easy on arrival. We had a lovely time and the village of Eyam is very picturesque, with a couple of tea rooms and a local pub (it is quite a hilly area so be prepared!), plenty of walking on the doorstep so no real need for the car. It was exactly what we were looking for, perfect peaceful stay with gorgeous weather!

Nothing not to like, it's a lovely place to stay. The other cottages on the property also look lovely. The local village pub has a break on food serving so get in before 2pm for lunch or then it's 6pm for the evening food - lovely pub & a real sun-trap!

fantastic private quiet location great hosts. under floor heating was a god send

Tin roof was extreamly noisy in bad weather made it hard to sleep. kettle was dangerous the steam burnt my hand when picked it up. Would benefit from an airfryer knifes were blunt need a knife sharpener.
