Wunderschöne Unterkunft im Herzen von Franschhoek. Das Personal war einfach so liebevoll & hilfsbereit. Immer wieder gerne.

Durch die massiven Feuer in Franschhoek gab es in der Nacht keinen Strom und somit kein Licht & keine Klima. Dafür kann die Unterkunft allerdings nichts und sie Mitarbeiter taten ihr bestes um alle Gäste glücklich zu stellen.

La Villa truly feels like a little piece of heaven. It’s tucked away in a quiet, beautiful estate, about a 10–15 minute walk from the main street with all the restaurants and shops, so it's close enough to be convenient, but far enough to be peaceful. The grounds are stunning, very green and well maintained, and the pool area is gorgeous with incredible views of the surrounding mountains. We stayed in the Mountain View room, which is actually a completely separate little house on the property, with our own garden and a private jacuzzi. It offered total privacy and tranquility. After busy days visiting vineyards, coming back to this calm space was exactly what we needed. The entire staff was fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the complimentary wine tasting was a great bonus. We loved everything about this place and would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing location, delicious breakfast, great staff. The property itself was beautiful and in summer would be a perfect haven away from busy Franschhoek.

We loved having a stone bath in the room but sadly there was never enough hot water to use it - it would only fill about 12 cm deep. As it was winter this was such a shame as the weather was terrible. It was also great to have a hot tub but even though the grounds manager kindly lit it for us it never got warm enough to use. There was no lid and it was cold outside so it was never going to get hot enough! The lighting in the villa was very dingy and again, it being winter this made a big difference. I had to use my phone light to put on my make up in the bathroom because there were no lights in there.
