Umah Yugadi Bali

Staying at this homestay was the best decision of our Bali trip! The host family is so welcoming and organizes everything for you: trips to the waterfalls or hiking, sunset and dinner recommendations, drop off in Munduk downtown. Just relax and you will be taken care of - exactly what we wanted. The dinner cooking class with the host family and the other guests was a Highlight! The accommodation is also very clean and comfortable.

Kadek and his family welcomed us as their own family ! We could feel at home in his house. It was not only an accommodation but a full experience and discovery of the Balinese culture : - Kadek drove us to see the sunset in the rice fields and then to a restaurant with an amazing view on the valley - He took us to a river to swim and we walked in the rice fields - We did a cooking class to discover Balinese food and share moments with Kadek’s family - We learnt to play traditional Balinese instrument to do some music, with Kadek’s neighbor - We had the opportunity to do the water purification and learn more about it, the process, tradition and cie - Kadek took us to show us the village temple, his family temple and family houses where they produce avocado, vanilla, coffee and more ! A huge thanks to Kadek and his family for these unforgettable moments. We will come back, for sure !!

The host, Kadek, and his family are just wonderful. We had a very warm welcome and he personally drove us around to the best spots (food, sightseeing, everything) around Munduk. Kadek was also kind enough to invite us to his family compound and he taught us a lot about the culture and history. Staying here also means loads of singing and karaoke! It was the best way to start our Bali trip!!

We had an amazing stay. The place is very new, spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. But the best part was Kadek; he is a top-notch host who was always checking if we needed anything and suggesting great activities around Bali. We felt so welcomed that we truly wished we could have stayed longer. If you’re looking for a clean place with a personal touch, this is it!

The only bad thing is that we couldn't stay longer!

Ce qui est particulièrement remarquable c’est l’accueil et l’assistance pour organiser notre séjour à Munduk. KAdek et sa famille sont exceptionnels de gentillesse et de prévenance. On s’est senti accueilli comme si nous étions de la famille. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable. On peut louer des scooters sur place. Les conseils de Kadek pour les visites sont vraiment à suivre si vous souhaitez profitez des sites remarquables

Tout était formidable

Where do we start! What an experience! Kadek and Ketut were the most amazing hosts during our recent 4 night stay with them. Being in a very remote location we needed to hire scooters to travel around, however I was not confident to use one so Ketut took me everywhere with my husband following on his own scooter behind. We saw the most stunning waterfalls, beautiful views overlooking the local rice terraces, ate some wonderful local food, booked a Balinese cooking class, visited temples and trekked through the jungle. Kadek even took us for a free tour around his family village. We walked around his family compound and met his beautiful family, all of us sipping Balinese coffee together. If you are looking for a true Balinese experience then this is your place. Yes it is remote and you may need support to explore the area but this will all be arranged for you.
