Very nice people. Communication was excellent with an easy check in and no stress. Motel is retro old but cleaned up nicely and very comfortable. Will study next time we’re in the area. Just need coffee
The hostess was very friendly. The place itself is in need of a LOT of repairs and maintenance. The front door of my room had pieces of the laminate torn off. The inside safety latch was dysfunctional. The bed isn't very comfortable, the rooms rug was old and needs to be replaced. The bottom line is that the place needs a lot of repairs and upgrades. I'd never stay here again unless they made some major repairs and upgrades. It was good I came alone, my wife wouldn't have stayed there at all. Being ex military I've stayed at worse but never again.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is excellent—perfect for accessing nearby trails and other attractions, with great restaurants and bars within a 10-minute drive. The views are stunning, and the constant sound of water from the surrounding rivers, lakes, and streams adds a peaceful touch. We enjoyed the firepit in the evenings, and appreciated that firewood was available on-site. The room had a cozy, mountain-lodge vibe. The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, and the smart TV made it easy to stream from our apps. Board games and complimentary water bottles were thoughtful extras we really enjoyed. However, the bathroom in both rooms we stayed in had noticeable mold in the shower area—particularly in Room 3—and this issue didn’t appear to have been addressed. Also, the rooms were somewhat dark, and there was a musty smell in some areas. Overall, it’s a charming place with a lot of character and natural beauty, but the cleanliness of the bathrooms definitely needs improvement.
