-If you like exchanges and meetings, this place is for you. With a backpacking spirit, you cannot be disappointed. At FumikoRina it's like a family where everyone shares their experiences with good humor. The hosts of course, but especially Rina, the owner. She welcomes you with her incredible energy and happily shares the island's good tips. Always up to accompany you in discovering the most secret places. -The hostel is very well located (2 minutes from Tubod Marine Sanctuary, very close to San Juan and its weekend parties, less than 10 minutes by scooter from Lugnason Falls. -The staff members are great, take great care of the hosts, they do everything to make your stay easier. -The breakfast included (in an already low price rent room) is of very good quality.

The hostel is new, it continues to improve day by day, especially in terms of equipment. Do not hesitate to pass on your recommendations with kindness, it helps greatly

Rina is an amazing host and since the hostel only opened 2.5 months ago, she is making a fair go at it. She is very welcoming and always asked to include me on dinners and nights out. The hostel itself is basic but clean and the dorm room is cheap at currently only 499 pesos per night when paid at the property, includes air con in the room at evening until morning. Additionally, the included free breakfast is appreciated.

The hostel is still undergoing some improvements like WiFi extension to the rooms (currently only available at main bar area) and they just installed some lock boxes in the dorm room. This isn't the most attentive hostel you'll visit, but if you don't mind being patient, all your needs will be met.

I had the best time at Fumiko. At first we were suppose to stay only 2-3 nights, but we ended up extending because we loved it. Rina, the owner, always makes sure to invite you or tell you about all the events occurring in Siquijor. We will come back for sure ❤️ Free breakfast for the guest is also a plus !! 👍👍

Everything was fine

I like the owner because she's friendly and very approachable also the stuff are friendly. I like also the food.

I don't like that it's a bit far but it's okay. Some of the backpackers are noisy specially the girls. Some are disrespectful they don't care even if others are sleeping, kept laughing and talking loudly.

Location wise its good, near restos, ATM and stores

Some guests are loud during my stay. Please provide socket or outlet for each bed.

The owner is absolutely wonderful. Easy to meet a lot of people, very good vibe. Confortable bed with curtains. Tiny terrace at the back of the room. Nice big space to chill, play pool and meet people. The breakfast is included and good. Perfect location for us (between San Juan and our diving center). Nices bars for sunset at 100meters. Easy to rent scooters near the hostel.

Only two showers and 3 toilets. The building is still under construction so it can sometimes be noisy coming from the ceiling but manageable. Not much plugs in the room.

Nothing

It was better to sleep on the floor than in that hard bed, no plugs to connect your devices, no WiFi in the rooms, no lockers or place to leave your stuff, bathrooms dirty, no toilet paper. I've asked the staff members, and one of them (French guy) told me, "You know you can use another toilet downstairs"? I didn't even ask him to go to the toilet and put it himself. I wanted to do it, just I need to get it. The other staff member, Lady, was lovely but not enough potential to run the place, I had to ask everything to her instead of her explaining to me the "rules" of the place. Also , I arrived at 9 pm, and my bed wasn't even made up and the linen was still a bit wet when she prepared the bed in front of me. I've paid almost 20 AUD for one night and I was hoping to extend but after that experience I left and I've been walking around the area, I found a place next door a private room for the same price. Also, you can check Stellaz guest house for half price and half of the people in the room with all you need. Also, the room was full of local ladies super drunk at 12 am yelling and disturbing, it is just common sense that some people wanted to sleep early after a long day, instead of place a sign for it, there were a sign on the room door saying "no vomiting" absolutely disgusting.

I had a really good time at Fumiko. The owner is very sweet, always trying to take care of her guests and provide as much help as she can. Really good quality/price ratio if you are not expecting anything super fancy.

The owner is super super nice the best hostel I’ve ever been so far the accommodation are very good and the room clean and good also but the owner do her best to make you feel at home and accommodate you the best she can Thank you so much rina I will be back
