Spacious property with plenty of bathrooms

Lots of room, comfy beds, warm, quiet location, good contact from manager.

Could do with a full set of white/red wine glasses and tumblers and some serving dishes. 3 bathrooms in the main house but only one with a shower over it - so we all had to wait for that one to wash our hair! Not major problems though.

Facilities available for all ages. Loved the different rooms. Cosy lounge, lots of space to sit comfortably in front of the log fire. Great space for sitting at the dining table too!

Maybe the Kitchen floor could do with a good steam clean. Would be better if there were a couple of smaller hand towels in the downstairs loo rather than one large bath towel.

Very spacious, set in beautiful countryside. Peaceful, heating was good and made house toasty and warm.

Needed more utensils and equipment in kitchen, a lot of the baking tins, frying pans etc needed updating as quite rusty. Oven lights were not working. The outside lights were not working. I think property needs a bit of a make over and some parts now looking a bit tatty. I think more showers were needed as one shower for the size of the house isn’t enough. The ash hadn’t been cleaned from the fire bucket and also bins were not collected and were very full when we arrived from the occupants beforehand. A welcome pack would have been greatly appreciated especially with the price that was paid. After a long journey and no shop close by, it would have been appreciated to have fresh milk, bread left for us.

Beautiful property looking out on church. Lots of different social spaces. Stunning inglenook fireplace with plentiful supply of wood providing cosy evenings.

Mattresses in twin room quite uncomfortable, need renewing

The house was easy to find and in a gorgeous location. Very beautiful, spacious and comfortable rooms.
