Nice location, horrible experience with the cabin

We had an extremely disappointing experience with this cabin rental and would not recommend it. Upon arrival, the cabin was unsanitary and smelled strongly of dog urine throughout. The carpet was visibly dirty to the point that we did not walk on it without shoes. In addition, the blinds were torn and damaged, leaving no reasonable expectation of privacy. We contacted the office multiple times. During our final call, we were told that housekeeping was there and that someone would follow up with us once the issues were addressed. No one ever did. We received no confirmation that the carpet was cleaned or sanitized and no update on maintenance. Follow-up emails and texts went unanswered. Because the cabin was not suitable to stay in, we were forced to secure a hotel at our own expense. It is not reasonable to expect guests on vacation to repeatedly check back or inspect whether basic cleanliness and maintenance issues have been resolved—especially when promised communication never occurred. The lack of cleanliness and complete lack of follow-through from the cabin manager made this rental unacceptable.

Absolutely nothing

The beds were old and very uncomfortable, had carpet upstairs and it was filthy and smelly. The outside balconies were so nasty we couldn't even go outside. Called the emergency line and they said the cabin being dirty was not an emergency. Called the next day, they asked for pictures, I sent them, and they said they would look into it. I left Sunday afternoon, I paid till Monday.
