The Loft

The loft was clean, fresh and comfortable. The bed linen, mattress and duvet were all very comfortable too. The shower water was nice and hot. The towels were lovely and clean. The Vellux windows work exceptionally well in keep the traffic noise out so inside was very warm and peaceful. The Wi-Fi works well.

Finding The Loft is very hard. We had to enquire at The Filly twice. If you arrive after dark it’s impossible to see the house sign as the light above it completely blocks it out. Unfortunately, the oven has no dial indicator so we couldn’t work it properly ~ we had to guess. Thank you for the teabags … milk and / or a welcome basket would have been gratefully received.. luckily we brought a pint with us.

A little tricky to find at night - some more detailed location instructions would have helped, but hosts very responsive to a quick phone call!

Lovely well located (What3Words - /|/pebble.joystick.extensive), modern in look & feel. Perfect self contained apartment for those who would like to be self sufficient whilst staying in the area, but with the added bonus of a lovely country pub (The Filley) just around the corner if you don’t want to cook.

Wasn’t anything to not like! I’d happily stay there again if I wanted a weekend away.

Beautiful property and location, right next to pub, brewery and vineyard, approx 30min walk into town. Property was immaculate and well equipped thank you for a lovely stay.

We arrived at 8.30pm ish, and the location was a bit difficult to find in the dark (even with headtorches!) - maybe some clearer directions would be good (map?) - found much more easily in the daytime!

Being so near the ponies,pub and garden centre.

Clean, quaint, nicely decorated.

Internet bandwidth was nonexistent even though the signal showed 5 bars. I could not do anything I needed to and the next morning it was out altogether. TV could only show BBC clearly. Fridge ice box had not been defrosted and the ice cube tray was broken. Some recommendations on where to get breakfast would be helpful but I couldn't use the use the internet to search for something nearby.
