MIVE-Delux Three Bedroom Apartment in Marsaskala

Upon arrival, we were stunned by the smell of cigarettes. After checking the accommodation we found out that there were no blankets, actually there were not enough blankets and no sheets but there were. There was one sponge on the sink that had been used for about a year, absolutely disgusting when you imagine that someone had "washed" all the dishes and equipment in the apartment with it. And maybe something else.. after we found out the condition of the apartment we called the owner to tell him that we wanted to claim the stay, he asked us what was wrong, to everything we told him he had a solution, blankets are not needed turn on the air conditioning, the dish sponge supposedly costs 10 cents said that we have to buy a new one. Cigarette smoke in the apartment? That's not true. There's no smoking in the apartment. The overall cleanliness of the apartment? This way, they say the cleaning is fine. Of the three air conditioners we tried, two worked. I would buy a sponge, of course, but then I would have to wash all the dishes to feel that they are really clean. After two phone calls to the owner and a phone call to the booking agent, we had to catch up on the cancellation. He wanted to send the IBAN and could send me the payment back. And since our departure from Malta, the owner hasn't been in touch, doesn't answer messages, doesn't answer the phone.

Clean, quit place, was evertything that need

Modern and spacious flat, it has most what you need, a few minutes walk from several Marsaskala beaches, with small shops around for food. Restaurants are also close as well as the bus station(s). There is AC in most rooms, which is very much appreciated in the summer heat. Beds are comfortable, the pillows were too hard for me though. The owner is easy to reach and responds fast to messages.
