"Peaceful location but overpriced"

The property was clean and spacious and modern. There was no air con and only one fan, which meant it was hot staying there in the summer (January). Access was straightforward - the door was open and the key was left on the kitchen table. It is secluded (about 1km off the main road) and peaceful.

It was hot staying in summer with only one fan, and it is a long walk with bags/suitcases from the main road - taxis don’t seem to know it’s location, and the vineyard wasn’t particularly helpful. Re sleeping, the bed linen was scratchy and not very comfy, so combined with the lack of air con/enough fans, made sleeping difficult.

Location is great but didn’t realise how close it was to the villa. Place itself was very clean.

Too close to villa. Not great if you’re wanting a quiet weekend away. No aircon, it was very warm inside. No coffee pods even though there was a coffee machine and no coffee either. Plenty of wine options but you have to pay!

Beautiful place, clean and tidy. Hidden away. Lovely. Coffee provided and the staff make sure to have your choice of milk in the fridge! 10 minute walk to town

Gorgeous setting, helpful and friendly staff member met us there earlier which was really appreciated. Fridge stocked with Cable Bay wines you can purchase, which was a nice touch.

There's a big house on the same property right next door, which was fine for us as it wasn't booked. However, if you're a couple wanting a romantic getaway and the house is also rented??? Maybe check first.

The views were stunning, the place was beautiful and luxurious and the host was so easy to contact about anything

I travelled solo and didn’t have a car or a bike so I walked everywhere and the very long driveway was a bit tough every day
