Studio apartment at Solli

The space was lovely and super convenient. Near enough to the tram and metro. Would definitely recommend!

Location through the parking lot felt a little dodgy and wasn't expected. It was a shame the bathroom had no window or extraction fan.

The location in Frogner, very convenient to the tram to downtown Oslo, and to the sculpture park. Easy to get to the palace and the Ibsen Museum.

The instructions for the key safe were confusing. The place is not on the street which is its address. The owner sent instructions which our taxi driver could not follow at first. Later, a map came through with the instructions, but we did not have this when we were given the entry information as we were not on wifi when they were received. The access to the apartment is up 2 floors of a steep winding staircase - very difficult with cases, and we are over 70 years of age. The bed is up a ladder in the apartment. We were not aware of this prior to booking, and we try and avoid ladders at our age. There were dirty dishes in the cupboards. The TV requires the guest to have Chromecast on their phone and set up the TV with it - something we have never had before and we did not use it. We now compare it with our apartment in Bergen which at a similar cost is wonderful.

The apartment was located approximately 2km from the main city centre with really good restaurants and public transportation nearby, The host was really helpful and proactive during our trip. Would definitely recommend for a short or a bit longer stay in Oslo.

Honestly the price was fair. It has a comfy apparent look. Water from the tap was good. We liked the no-contact instructions to access the house.

The outside photos are misleading, there was hair on the ground from the previous owner. The WiFi was either slow or didn’t work. If you are plus size you are gonna struggle with the wc since it is right next to the sink. One bed is a sofa with a metal bar in the middle.
